I'm a
I use technology, data and leadership to solve problems and create meaningful impact in my community.
Kia ora — I'm Felix, a Master of Business Information Systems student at the University of Canterbury with a passion for data, finance, AI, and business strategy. I enjoy turning complex problems into practical solutions through analytics, technology, and data-driven decision-making.
My professional background spans insurance, marketing, business operations, and retail management, giving me a strong understanding of how organisations create value and where technology can make a real impact. Alongside my studies, I have developed expertise in financial markets, winning both the University of Canterbury Trading Competition and the Tiger Brokers New Zealand Tertiary Student Sim-Trading Competition.
Through the UC Virtual Internship, I worked with Fuel50, a New Zealand HR technology company, conducting market research, competitor analysis, and evaluating future SaaS pricing strategies, including emerging AI-powered business models. I have also worked directly with New Zealand organisations through the Global Impact Industry Project and Global Leadership Programme, gaining valuable experience in client engagement, strategic problem-solving, and New Zealand business culture. Outside of work and study, I lead a multimedia team at my church, mentor fellow students, and enjoy building projects that combine AI, analytics, and business innovation.

Different roles. One purpose.
Each role has sharpened how I work with data, systems, and people — across New Zealand and Indonesia.

Supporting international students through academic and cultural transition, and partnering with university staff to deliver student-focused engagement initiatives.

Managing stock receiving, inventory accuracy, and POS/system data entry in a fast-paced retail environment — resolving pricing and stock discrepancies with supervisors.

Managed online marketplace platforms and overseas supplier relationships (China, Korea, Germany), aligning online and offline inventory, pricing, and promotions.

Managed client data and policies with a focus on accuracy, and analysed client needs to drive sales — promoted to Business Partner leading two staff, with recognition awards.

Organised government procurement events across provinces, onboarded clients to e-catalogue systems, and consistently achieved sales targets.
The technologies I use to analyze, build, and communicate.
Where I give back — leading teams, serving locally, and supporting major events.

Branch Out · gardening and maintenance at Mairehau School, giving back to the local community.
